JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 29 - School Conferences

Should parents face jail time for missing their child's school conferences? No!Parents shouldn't face jail time for missing their child's school conferences. Judges shouldn't SEEK jail time to parents that do not attend their child's school conferences because jails are way too crowded to have people in jail for small reasons like that, which is not even a law. If parents go to jail for not attending their child’s parent teacher conferences the child will have to TRANSFER to foster care, because it might be considered neglect towards the child. Another reason I believe parents shouldn't face jail time for missing their child's school conferences because parents don’t always have time to go to the meetings and they should communicate with their kids on their own at home. Which is a perfect time for the parents to bond with its child and the parent can be the RESOURCE to its child at home. For the reasons above I believe that parents shouldn't face jail time for missing their child's school conferences.
