JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 28 - Truant Students

Should Global Positioning System (GPS) devices be required for habitually truant students? No! Truant students shouldn't be required to carry a global positioning system (GPS). Criminals such as sex offenders are ADMINISTERED with (GPS) students that are truant to class shouldn't be treated as criminals and felons just because their not going to class. Also an ELEMENT that people fail to consider is the cost of the devices, as may they device cost a lot of money which school may not even be able to afford. Another reason why truant student shouldn't be required to carry a global positioning system (GPS)is because the devices might not work, because schools are giving the responsibility to the students to the CONDUCT the devices by themselves, but if the students are being truant by their own decision what makes you think the students will be responsible to carry the devices for their choice. For these reasons I believe that that truant students should be required to carry a global positioning system (GPS).
