JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 26 - Cars

Would you want a car that drives itself? I would want a car that would drive itself, because you wouldn't want to be all focused on the road if you have something else to do. For example, if I just bought a bean burrito from Taco Bell and I want to eat it, I would be able to eat it if I had a car that can drive itself, but if I had to drive the car myself I wouldn't be able to eat my bean burrito, because I have to be focused on what's happening on the road. Also if I'm distracted eating my burrito it can cause me to get into an accident and I do not want that. In addition, the most common METHOD of cars driving itself is for drivers not to get into car accidents. If cars would be able to drive themselves I wouldn't be in a high risk of getting into a car accident, because now in day about 400,000 drivers age 16 to 20 get seriously injured per year this OCCURS by car accidents. Also, if car would be able to drive themselves nobody would have to take any driving tests, or have a certain age to drive, because the car would drive themselves and everyone would be able to "drive" the cars. In conclusion, cars should be able to drive themselves, because it will reduce the high risk of people getting into car accidents, we would have more free time in cars, and we can PROCEED with the method of cars driving themselves, because it wouldn't be difficult at all for us human beings "drive."
